An Asian man drives the float and is reportedly Hing Chinn. The sides of the float are hung with tapestries. In fron t of the driver are U.S and Chinese flags. On the back are chrysanthemums and dahlias and three women dressed in historical Chinese costume. The one in the center is sitting on a raised dais. In the lower right hand corner is a caption which reads: Winner - Numerous floats of the Seattle Chinese community, with silk clad boys and girls, gave them first prize." Written in ink at the top of this caption is "Driver - 1935 - Hing Chin"
