Afternoon, Brud" "Brud" was the nickname used by Wing's brother and sisters as ashort for "Brother" or more formally "Big Brother" as is the custom in Chinese to address the eldest. This message was clipped to the door of Wing's bedroom and was the last message to the family. It states the destination of that last fateful fishing trip with Sid Gerber and Kay Ladue, before the plane crashed on the trip back to Seattle. (Bettie Luke 3/26/1993)
