This is a letter from the Registrar's Office of the University of Washington (UW). The letter informed Wing Luke that he had two ways to gain admittance to UW: complete the course requirements or petition for admission. Luke needed to take either advaced Spanish or complete one year of another foreign language. Mrs. Frances M. Willard, who signed the letter, informed Luke that UW wanted to help Luke meet the requirements. She enclused the pettion for admission forms. The letter printed in UW letterhead.
