Abstract
Clipping measures 3 3/4 x 12" with approximately an area of 1 1/4 x 1 1/2" cut from the lower right corner. The top line of the clipping has the source and the date printed: "Page 10, The Seattle Times, Monday, May 31, 1965." The title of the article follows, "City Hall: Plane Still Grows, Like Hope, in Slient Office of Wing Luke." The article is divided into two columns. At the top of the left column is the reporter's name, reading, "By Douglas Willix, Times City Hall Reporter." At the top of the right column is a photo image of Wing Luke, shoulder-length, 3/4 view facing the viewer's right. The article draws an analogy between the philodendron plant growing in Wing Luke's office with the "Still-Living Hopes of Friends that We May Yet be Found." The article then reflects on Wing Luke's character and his presence at City Hall.
