Ration Book A: Ration book cover, blue faux leather texture folder, opens right to left. Silver printing on the cover: "Rations for V" and then vertically from the V is: "ictory." A small design is next to the text. Inside are pockets on each side with diagonal cut openings. The folder is stitched at either end. B: Ration book registration, H: 8", W: 10.5", single sheet of white paper folded into quarters. Quarter 1 is the title page: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA War Ration Book One .." Quarter 2 is the "Certificate of Book Holder" and is signed in pencil for "Hing Chinn" by " Chin Ngow" his father. Quarters 3 & 4 are the "Certificate of Registrar" and is filled out in blue ink. At the bottom were 30 ration stamps of which 5 are left. C: Brown paper cover booklet, H: 4.25", W: 5.625", which had 6 pages of blue stamps in it. Entitled: "WAR RATION BOOK TWO" and made out to: "Hing Chinn, 519 1/2 7th Ave. S. Seattle, Wash." D: Brown paper cover booklet, H: 4.25", W: 5.625", which had 6 pages of blue stamps in it. Entitled: "WAR RATION BOOK No. 3" and made out to: "Hing Chinn, 519 1/2 7th Ave. S. Seattle,4, Wash." written at the bottom of the book in ink is "Book 4". E: Brown paper cover booklet, H: 4.25", W: 5.625", which had eight pages of stamps, 4 are intact. Entitled: WAR RATION BOOK FOUR" made out to: "Hing Chinn, 519 1/2 7th S, Seattle."
