Watercolour Painting entitled "July 4, 1943" Depicts a brown guard tower with a soldier standing behind the railing with his rifle. On the left is a brown electrical pole with wires extending to the guard tower on the right. Flying above on the left is a red, white and blue kite with an American flag motif and red, white and blue tail. Below is a brown wire fence. The sky is accented with blue and grey paint on watercolour paper. The artist has signed the back in pencil with the title, his name, and date with a copyright symbol, "'July 4, 1943', Lee J. Wexler, 1977 c" and the lower right front with his name and date. Originally mounted in a black plastic frame.
