I intended to reply to your letter promptly but did not arrive here at camp "C" until 2:30 pm. Fortunately I carried our things in before the heavy rain. As you have informed me camp "C" is rather good and fortunately I brought paper and pasted it on the wall and my roomate Mr. Kago made a closet for me. On the tenth at 12 they began giving typhoid shots. In the first few days after I arrived here food and hot water were not available. Since then the conditions have become better and I do not have any complaints presently. Shall I say I am on vacation? But I am having trouble sleeping because of the change of "air." I become sleepy every time I try to read a book. It is a problem. My acquaintances who came to this camp are Okazaka family, Horiuchi, Hitta, Tanaka, and Hasegawa. But there are no adequate collection of books but when the time comes I think some arrangements will be made by the camp you are in. Even though we have rain sometimes It fortunately happens at night and I don't have complaints since the sun is out during the day.
