Certificate of Registration Document is in booklet form, document folded in half lengthwise, black cover with embossed sun within a circle and stylized Chinese characters on the front; document is a black printed form in English and Chinese with a black and white photograph on the right side and two blue round stamps over the photo and in the lower right "Consulate of the Republic of China*Seattle", stamped at the top in English "The holder of this certificate is Chinese", the form has been filled in English and Chinese hand writing in blue ink as follows: "CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION, NO. 804, Seattle, Wash., NAME: Mamie Chinn, Mayme Chinn, SEX: Female, AGE: 17, NATIVE PROVINCE: Kwangtung, PLACE OF BIRTH: Seattle, Washington, PRESENT RESIDENCE: 663 King Street, Seattle Washington, PROFESSION: Student, DATE: MAY 20 1942 (stamped) Photograph shows young woman with curly hair tied with a ribbon, she wears a double stranded necklace For identification as to nationality and race. Cover is threadbare on edges and center fold is splitting at top and bottom.
