Abstract
A: Paper cover China Journal Cover is burnt orange paper with an illustration of a temple. The illustration is in blue, yellow, red and black. In the center is a Buddha sitting on a dais with flames in back. The title is "China Journal," "Science Art Literature" Travel Shooting Fishing" Vol. XXI, October 1934, No. 4. There is an article by John Aton Dean - "Consecrated Images of China." B: List, H: 8.5", W: 5.5", white parchment with typed list of museums each has written dates next to it and arrows pointing left and right. C: Newspaper article, H: 17.25", W: 5.25", "Seattle Times" 7 - 12 - 1957, entitled "Golden Boy" with Black and white photo of Millard Rogers and Edward Thomas of Seattle Art Museum on finding artifacts inside a wooden Chinese statue.
