A mounted and matted opaque watercolor of a ceiling tile from the Illi Temple in Jehol. The painting is done on thin cardboard which has been pasted on a stiffened paper backing. It is framed by a mat of grey cardboard. An ink line .25 " from the inner edge of the mat runs around the mat parallel to the edges of the painting. See 1991.3.49 for further description .
