Abstract
Watercolour Painting entitled " Mididoka, Idaho" Depicts a scene of a group of people huddled in the center of the painting around a burial site. The lower half is painted dark brown with scattered gravestones and the background is left white (like a snow covered hill) with a dark blue sky. There are two groups of dark coloured figures on either side of a mound of earth, the people on the right are holding umbrellas. The only bright spot in the painting are two floral wreaths in pink and green on either side of the grave. Painted on heavy weight watercolour paper with transparent and semi-transparent paintand finished with speckles. The artist has signed the back in pencil with the title, his name, and date with a copyright symbol, "'Mididoka, Idaho', Lee J. Wexler, 1977 c" and the lower left front with his name and date.
