Philippine forged sword with bamboo wood scabbard, second scabbard of husk material tied onto the first one -- possibly for spear head. Sword hilt wood with amny knobs either broken off or filled with orange, black, and white horse hair/mane. Hilt attached with tightly braided fiber, probably nito. Scabbard covered with ornate floral carvings in wood and orange, black, and white horse hair/mane. A second scabbard has a round-braided strap loop on it to attach to a belt or to hold over a shoulder. Sword: Length 25.25" (Hilt 7"), Width 1.5" Scabbard: Length 21.5", Width 2.5", Circum. 6.25"
