Description
Tibetan prayer horn used by priests to observe various rituals. Open-mouthed dragon with several fangs, long smoke antennae, and deer-like antlers. Silver work impressed with fish-scale ornamental motif. Silver bulb below dragon head part of continuous decoration along stem of horn. Sections of the piece connected by soldering. Two rings, one by dragon head, one 4" from mouthpiece. Basis of horn is copper ornamented with silver. Brass dragon head opening at one end.
