A black skull cap made of six triangular panels of black silk with woven pattern. At the bottom is 1.25" band of plain black satin silk. It has a red cotton lining stiffened with a woven bamboo hexagonal weave. There is a 1.25" wide inner hat band of black stiffened linen(?). The top knot is missing. (Kua p'i mao ?) 20th C.
