Loom - Artifacts

Description
Loom Wooden loom of the Lahu people from Northern Thailand. Frame is made of light colored wood and fits together with pegs. Free standing with four posts and a seat. The pink cotton warp is partially woven and attached to the cloth beam and strung through the reed and string nettles. The pieces have taped markings with numbers at the joints which are in the assembly. One of the two bamboo treadles is missing. Three of four screws for the shuttle like pieces are missing.
