Black silk crepe Chinese man's jacket. Front overlap closing to right, fastened with nine loop and knotted-cord toggle buttons, three at throat, one at neck, and five along the side. Cuffs are approximately 4.5" wide and are separate pieces of material sewed on. Seams run down the center front, center back, and sides of garment. There are two side vents. All sewing is neat and small. There is a loop in the inside back of the neck, probably for hanging. The jacket was cleaned in November 1990, but still appears to be faintly soiled.
