(A) Gray teabowl with crackle glaze. Bottom of bowl is unglazed. Surface of bowl somewhat pitted due to kiln salt. Chop mark with potters' signature visible on side of piece. (B) A yellow cotton cloth with writing in black ink was in the mouth of the bowl and was probably used for wrapping it. Artist's name is Hayashi Shigematsu. The included paper gives the artist's history of his ceramic exhibitions and study.
