Sword - Kampilan. Magindanao tribal weapon. Two-piece carved wooden scabbard is separating. Handle end of scabbard is broken off. Parts missing. Scabbard is 18.75" (47.7 cm). Blade is 17" (43.2 cm), including decorative guard. Handle pommel featured eight mother of pearl panels; three are missing, as is whatever was attached to butt of handle. Grip consists of cord wrapping.
