Jacket - Artifacts

Description
A woman's open front, black damask silk jacket. The silk has a black floral pattern. The sleeves have blue nylon cuffs. The front closures are edged with 5 cm. striped bands of multicolored pink nylon. There is a 19 cm x 10 cm rectangle collar stitched to the jacket with the decorative side down. The jacket is lined with muslin and the bottom edges are unfinished. The "Hmoob Ntsoab" people, translated as "Green Hmong" are commonly known as "Blue Hmong", HMONG ART TRADITION & CHANGE
