Description
Hat has plain exterior of tapered vertical fiber slats laced at the crown and the rim, as well as fifteen lines of stitching attaching slats to a more loosely woven webbed interior. The hat rim and two interior reinforcing rings are bamboo. Crown features cluster of green, yellow, blue, and red thresds about 1 1/4" long. The interior desigh is of three parts- an outer ring of four gold leaf and four embroidered diamonds (two cerise, two avocado). the next ring has a row of ten gold leaf diamonds, a row of embroidered dragons in leaf diamonds, then six embroidered deamonds (two acocado, two rust). Ther desigh nearest the crown is a running key in rust. The chin strad is plain white material, attached to the larger reinforcing ring with string (cotton),
