Bowl - Artifacts

Description
Buddhist Monk's metal donation bowl, with pressed sheet metal top (B), base (C) and saffron colored cloth carrying bag with strap (D). Bowl is made of eight pieces of iron, seven of which are welded together to form the bowl. The eighyh constitutes the rim, and is welded to all the others. The carrying bag is one piece, cut to conform to bowl's shape and reinforced at the bottom juncture with an additional piece of the same material. is orange. The bowl top is pressed gold-colored sheet metal, with embossed Buddhist figure and decorative embellishments on upper surface.
