Chinese embroidery sample on royal blue figured silk. Mostly satin stitch picturing a fish sitting on a flower. Fish is light blue and red pattern, head of black with gray-green band large white eye, red mouth with pale yellow spout. Tail of magenta and yellow. Gray-green stems with 3 mageuta and pink flowers set on leaves of 2 or 3 shades of green, 1 bud in 2 shades of pink and white. Two leaves in 2 shades of green. Pale green ground.
