Chinese embroidery sample on royal blue figured silk. Mostly satin stitch picturing a fish sitting on a flower. Fish is orange and blue-green patternm, head of blackk with gray-green band, large white eye, red mouth with pale yellow water spout. Tail of mageuta and yellow. Fins of black and white. Brown stems with 2 mageuta and pink flowes set on leaves of 2 shades of green buds, 3 apricot-colored seeds with brown centers. Five leaves of 2 shades of green. Green strip of ground with blue threads diagonally and 3 green grass stitches.
