Circular brass betel box. This brass box is 2-3/4" (7 cm) in diameter and 2" (5 cm) high. The box is scalloped all around the outside, 12 scallops. Box has top and bottom & is hinged though the hinge is broken & held together by a wire. There is a stylized flower on the top of the box w/12 petals. Inside is corroded and has what looks like lime powder encrusted on it. There is one hole in the bottom part of the box. This may have been part of a set of 4 betel boxes at one time.
