A: 16 lb. "American Beauty" flat iron for commercial use made by American Electrical Heater Company, Detroit, Michigan. Wooden handle, plastic dial B: Electrical cord with black and gold braided covering, 86" long, plugs into upper back part of iron. C: Metal stand for the iron stands on legs formed from 3/16" wire; made of 3 layers of sheet iron separated by 1/4" air layers for insulating purposes. D and E: Lidded box. D: Lid, 5 3/4" x 9 1/4" x 6 7/8" of cardboard covered with yellow paper with black printing "This box contains one 'American Beauty' Adjustable-Automatic Themostatic Control Electric Pressing Iron, for heavy laundry work--for tailors and manufacturers. Catalogue No. 9AA, Volts 110-120, Manufactured by American Electrical Heater company, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. Oldest and Largest Exclusive Makers." E: Bottom section 5 5/8" x 9" x 6 3/4" made of cardboard lined with corrugat- ed paper.
