Shiny metal, U.S. Army dog tag. Rectangular in shape but with rounded sides. The tag has a small curved cut in its upper left side and a circular opening for attachment in the middle of its far right side. "Luke, Wing C./394-71226 T44- 4 A" in typeset has been pressed into the metal along the top edge of the tag. In the lower right corner, the letter "P" is indented in the metal also. On the back of the tag, one sees the now-reversed letters raised. A slight ridge of metal also encompasses the outer edge of the tag and the outline of the circular attachment opening. The metal is darker along these raised ridges and within the typed depressions. The tag also is bent in the lower left area and just to the right of the center of the tag.
