Charm - Artifacts

Description
Gold-plated metal charm in the shape of a vertical rectangle. The top of the charm has a centered ring worked from the metal of the main body of the charm. Through this ring is a loose circular ring, with a cut it in, for attachment. the front of the main body of the charm is cast with four aeolic columns in a row supporting a gold band with the word "Board" inlaid in purple and standing on a gold band with the word "Control" inlaid in purple. Attached on top of the middle of the two inner columns is a disk with scalloped edges. A band of purple with "University of Washington 1861" in gold encircles the outer edge. Within this circle has been cast a gold crest with four columns. The crest is edged by two bands of vegetation. The back of the charm is smooth and flat except for the name "Wing Luke" engraved by hand and the numbers "1/10" engraved by machine. Areas of discoloration occur on the back side also.
