Plate, Engraving - Artifacts

Description
Metal printing plate attached to finished light brown wood backing. The metal has a drawing cut into it in reverse with both smooth lines and areas for dark, solid printing and rough, texturized areas for shading and different gradiations of printing. The drawing shows two figures: one, shorter and rounded with a mortar board on, wearing glasses, holding a tape measure, and raising his other hand to his head as if scratching his head while thinking, and the other figures with "new lawyer" written on him, wearing a suit jacket too small and that has a tag reading, "the average law school education". In the background is a long rack of clothes and a mirror. The lower right corner shows in reverse "Wing Luke", the creator of the drawing. The printing plate can be pressed with ink and then presed on paper to print the drawing. The wood has some spots of discoloration on its back.
