Description
Archery Stand A: Stand of black lacquered wood trimmed with gold paint, 5.5" post. B: Bow of black lacquered wood wound by red painted fine reed in intervals with black cotton bow string (tsuru)* C: Arrow with brown and white feathers and white and green thread wrapped around the tail end (yahazu) of arrow and below the feather; with red lacquered wood turnip shape (kabura); with a flat metal spear head (hirane) D: Bow string reel is made of paper painted in gold, tied to (c) with orange cords at 2 places E: Black lacquered case, L: 6", W: 3/4", D: 1" has dragon fly design in gold, suede band with stenciled flower design (see middle of bow also) b,c,d,e are tied to (a) with purple silk cord which has white and purple tassels at the ends.
