Doll - Artifacts

Description
Hina Matsuri Court Lady Doll A: Separate head on wood peg made of molded wood paste, dipped in "gofun", painted black hairline, 2 dots on forehead, eyebrows, painted red lips, inset glass eyes; hair of black silk thread gathered in back and tied at front with yellow thread and in back with purple, pink and yellow thread in two places. B: Body in standing position with arms outstretched in front, painted carved wood hands, no visible feet. 5 white silk, 1 peach-colored silk and 1 red silk collars visible at neckline. Outer robe of white and orange-red silk brocade in floral pattern, lined with orange red silk; 1 white silk and 1 red silk bands showing at sleeve edge. Red silk "hakama" tied at waist with red silk sash basted with white silk thread. C: Sake server of metal with stamped pattern, long handle ending in cloud shape, single spout, decorative folded-paper metal shape and two coils attached across bowl.
