Doll - Artifacts

Description
Two musician dolls without instruments A: Separate head made of molded wood paste, painted a slightly pink, painted red lips, painted black eyebrows, inset glass eyes; inset black hair (boy's style) one piece on crown, one in front, one on left side, right side is missing (see fallen hair in plastic bag), one at back B: Body is in kneeling posture with arms crooked toward front. White painted wooden carved hands. Outer robe is a blue, white and black plaid with a nap lower back of robe on either side is faded orange silk; belt of same plaid material. Underrobes show at neckline: 1 orange, 1 dark blue, 1 light blue, 6 white. Sleeve of underobe of reddish brown and brown brocade, padded, shows beneath shorter sleeves of outer robe, one blue and one white sleeve edge show beneath. Doll is filled with straw and has a paper covered wooden bottom. C: Separate head made of molded wood paste, dipped in gofun, crack on forehead painted red mouth, inset glass eyes, two knotted tufts of hair on either side of head, face is whiter than doll A. B: Body is identical to doll body B, except that right arm is positioned lower paper is missing from bottom of doll
