B: Body in a seated position with painted carved wooden hands held out in front and painted carved wooden bare feet crossed near ankles in an informal position. Outer robe of plain white silk lined with pale blue silk crepe, off-center opening, square neck, folded front panel, sleeves hang down back with yellow silk thread running stitch at edges; self-fabric sash at back. Under kimono of orange, yellow and brown brocade in framed floral designs shows at neckline, padded sleeves and a tab extends from front outer robe. 2 beige and 1 pink collar at neckline. Pale yellow silk damask pants gathered at mid-calf. Originally one of a set.
