A gold finished papier mache military helmet has meshed finish. The front is high and 2/3 of the back is but low to cover the natural form of the head. the shape of the hat is similar to a Suiei-no-kan. At front 2 pieces of upward shaped rounded version of kuwa-gata (lit. trans., hoe shaped). Decorations which are fastened to the hat at the front, the rim has a raised band. Inside are painted black pieces (2) of kuwagata appear to be covered with smooth paper outside, textured on reverse side.
