Description
A: Unfinished wooden box with base, box (on end) with flat top. B: Unfinished wooden sliding lid with curved decorative top. High curve with lower curve on each side. Door slides into grooves on each side of the front of box. C: Blank paper 10.875" x 15.375" folded in half and then folded several times again to fit into box D: Smaller blank paper 9.375" x 13" folded in half and then folded several times again to fit into box. It goes inside larger blank paper E: Paper folded to 2.5 x 5.5". Kanji characters "Go" which is the honorific term, "Kami" which means god/spirit and "Bei" which means rice. It refers to the first rice harvest offering. Kanji on the left is a name: Ueda-shi which means Mr. Ueda or Ueda family. Paper E is folded inside paper D which is fold inside paper C and placed inside box A
