The cloth was made in Japan as an advertisement for Utee Grocery. The design is simple. In the center of the cloth, "Utee Grocery" is printed in black on a diagonal. Underneath, "90 Pine St Ma 8780" is printed in red ink and "1437 Jackson St PR 1180" is printed in blue ink. "Seattle Wash" is printed in gold ink. On each side, above and below the lettering there are two different plants printed in gray ink. On the left corner "made in Japan" was printed in purple ink using small lettering. The cloth may have been used as a towel.
