Cufflinks are large round/oval shape with scalloped border attatched by 3 link chain to smaller oval shape. both set into gold-colored metal. large shape has black background containing a dark grey mountain near top. below, in inlaid gold metal, is a tree between two stones. a gold line representing the ground lies below these. the smaller oval shape has a row of two gold birds in flight and a dark grey moon. C. dark maroon leather covered box. lid and bottom are connected by a hinge. gold colored clasp at front of lid for closing. inside of lid is padded with a covering of cream colored silk satin cloth. inside of bottom is raised and covered with cream silk velvet. two velvet covered hooks protrude to hold cuff-links.
