Obi (sash) - Artifacts

Description
Obi A: Sash is made of rep silk with a vermillion background and white supple- mentary weft woven design, 4 groups of horizontal lines, floral design between two groups of lines at top and the bottom spaces and the center space is woven in triangles and bars. A beige plastic ring is attached to the belt with a white tape at an angle; a white cotton belt, 26.5" long, .875" wide, is sewn at to the other end of the obi. B: Bow is made of same fabric as sash; it is folded in 4 layers, 2.375" wide fabric is wrapped twice around the center and end is sewn in place. A beige plastic hook is inserted at the top of the tie.
