Description
Blue and White Porcelain Bowl The bowl has a small circular foot (approx. 3/8" H with 2.875" diam.); four Chinese characters is blue appear on the bottom of the bowl. The painted motifs on the bowl include 6 large circular flowers connected by vines with slight foliage encircling the outside of the bowl. A scalloped fan like design also encircles the outer bottom. A medium weight line encircles the outer rim. Two thin lines encircle the inner rim. The interior base of the bowl has another large circular flower motif. This flower has vine-like extensions with slight foliage at tis four sides. The entire motif is encircled by 2 thin lines. All of these motifs occur in blue. The bowl has 3 hairline cracks along its side. The bowl also has a large chip and several smaller chips at its rim.
