U.S. Army issue flat cap The cap is machine stitched from olive wool, folded flat, resembling an envelope, with a cuff trimmed in red and gold cord.The cap is unlined but there is a wide strip of olive green canvas trimming the interior bottom edge of the cap as a reinforcement. Written inside the cap in black marker is "Fung, Cal" and the hat size "7 1/2" is stamped in black ink.
