Metal Sign - Artifacts

Metal Sign for Cannery Equipment "Iron Chink" Rectangular shape sign made from iron with brass plated finish, with raised frame and lettering "1927 The Iron Chink, Model (G), Patented--Aug. 8, 1905--Apr. 17, 1906--Dec. 20, 1910--July 18, 1911--Aug. 6, 1912--Apr. 27, 1915. Apr. 17, 1917--Apr. 24, 1917--Oct. 23, 1917--Jan. 11, 1921--July 19, 1921--Other patents pending. Smith Cannery Machines Co., Seattle, No. 479", small steel plate between Co. & Seattle, engraved with "A.P.A.asset No. 2242". Four holes for bolts, two left side, one on upper right, and one in top middle. On the back is engrave "346" in upper left corner. Some red paint around outer edges, on the front are spots of green copper oxidization, mottled and dirty.
