Description
A. Wooden spool of white cotton thread. It appears that only a little part of the thread has been used. The end of the thread is secured in a notch in the end of the spool. One end of the spool has a circular label with a gold background and a green stripe with the word "Lily" in white. The label also reads "Mercerized Sewing 125 yards." The other end of the spool has a circular label with "Lily" printed in the center in red. A black rope-like image encircles the outer edge of the label. A segment of this label has been detached from the spool, folded back, red marks on it. B. Wooden spool of brown cord. It appears that no part of the cordage has been used. The end of the cord is secured in a notch in the end of the spool. Both ends of the spool have circular labels with a gold background and a red stripe with the word "Lily" in white. The label also reads "Button and Carpet 100 yards", "Extra Strong", and "4 Cord". A segment of one of the labels has been detached from the spool and folded back.
