Miniature Mochi Eating Figure on Platform Figure appears to be seated but the seat is missing. Stuffed cloth head with white face and painted features, black tuft of fiber for hair sticks out at front of kerchief folded around head (red and gray on white plaid); jacket of red, white printed cloth, black cloth belt and pants of black with pink and gray stripes, feet covered with pink cloth. In her lap is a wood shaving curled up to form a container for two white mochi balls (wadded cotton); she holds a mochi ball up to her mouth with her right hand, hands are covered with white silk. She is glued to a slice of birch with bark showing around outer rim.
