Clay Plaque - Artifacts

Description
Clay Haniwa Plaque Round plaque bisqit colored unfired clay with raised facial features. Accented with black in the grooved portions. The eyes, nose and mouth are in the shape of conch shells. with cord like raised clay bands which surround the eyes and mouth. and forn the nose, On the forehead on a grooved horizontal line are raised bands which resemble animal horns. It hasd two holes on the top of the plaque with a bright pink ribbon tied through for hanging. The plaque is stored in a lidded cardbord box with wood shavings and has an explaination in Japanese. Comes from Miyazaki Prefecture.
