Papier Mache Daruma Figure with Flat Gold Top. Shaped like a saki bottle with a flat top this doll is painted red and a tan face made of paper is pasted on. The features of the face are painted black triangle eyes, eyebrows, and a red mouth. Painted below the face are five pink petal shape areas, with gold stripes down the middle of each, in a semi - circle. Pasted to the top is a piece of gold foil paper. The bottom of the doll is clay and is the weight which brings it back upright.
