Yukata - Artifacts

Description
Child's Yukata White plain weave cotton printed with red and grey abstract motifs including parrallel zig zag designs. Narrow sleeves open on the inside with a small wrist opening and a pleat made where sleeves join the body. Collar extends three - quarters of the way down the robe and has a white coarsley woven protective band on the inside. There is an inner back yoke which extends over the shoulder. The yukata has a horizontal pleat to make the robe shorter.It is hand stitched with white cotton thread. Long ties are sewn to the middle back of the garment. There is a stain on the left front.
