Paper bound book written in English "Japan: Old and New" Tokyo, T. Hasegawa. Book opens from right and is bound in two places with white thread. Front cover has multi colored drawing of two women. One on left is in blue robe with butterfly motif, is dancing with fan in one hand and flower in other, the other one has green shawl, a hat with red peony and red flowing hair, she is playing a drum. Introduction "Exhibiiton of figures representing life in old and new Japan" Colored illustration of man pulling rickshaw in which is seated a woman in kimono, on next page. The book has short explainations of Japanese activities and historical figures. The back cover has color illustration of Mt. Fuji and chrysanthemums. In red printing "Compliments of Japanese Tea Garden, Atlantic City N.J." Some worm holes in interior pages.
