The doll is handmade of white soft ribbed cotton with a face embroidered in black thread. The mouth is embroidered in red, the hair is of black yarn, parted in the middle of the head with bangs and the length to its shoulders. The doll wears a removable white cotton KIMONO tied on to the doll with white cotton gauze. The dolls red underlayer, JUBAN of synthetic fabric is seen under the kimono. The KIMONO is a TOMESODE with stencil-dyed gold fish in red, yellow, blue and dark green water ripple and drop motifs. The piece is in good condition.
