Handmade doll's futon is made of light silk fabric. The edges are folded to the front and frame a white, rough synthetic fabric with motif of old style chinese characters in black. Stitching is in white thread. Yellow embroidery thread is knotted in seven locations throughout the central area of the piece to hold the front and back materials and the batting inside in place. Each corner is accented with green embroidery thread for further support.
