Robe or Dressing Gown Red silk crepe lined with red habutai silk The red crepe has a yuzon zume dyed design, Black wavy band around the neck line forming a collar shape with blue, purple, and red flowers with green vine leaves. Same design repeated on sleeve hems along the hem of the garmet and up the side slits creating a Chinese look. Large floral motifs are scattered on the red background and include pink and tan chrysanthemums, pink cherry blossoms, orange and yellow maple leaves, pink and purple leaves, purple and white wisteria, pink plum blossoms, and pink daisies. the robe is cut striaght three quarter inch lenght set in kimono type sleeves. no collar at front bands. It has four black silk frog fasteners down upper front. Red ribbon loop sewn in to back neckline for hanging. Made for western market as woman's dressing gown.
