Jar - Artifacts

Description
Glass apothecary jar with separate lid. A: Molded glass jar with large holding capacity. Opening is 3" in diameter. There is a half ring collar then a straight collar of slatned stripes. Then the jar expands in a tapered egg shape. It tapers to a near hollow stem and flares into a stand. B: Lid is hollow. It is pointed with turning spiral grooves on the acorn shaped top. There is a thin area and then it expands to form a ridge which holds it on top of th jar. 3/4" neck fits into the jar.
